George A. Mattingly, Counselor at Law
I have been licensed to practice law in Massachusetts for over thirty years. At one time or another, I have been in each of the following roles: trial lawyer, in-house counsel, team builder, instructor (in negotiations, deal making, and difficult conversations), team leader, senior manager and deal maker.
Recently, my private law practice has involved mostly the following: commercial transactions (negotiating deals; drafting and negotiating contracts), business formation, software licensing and other intellectual property matters; negotiation coaching, business advice and consulting for small companies, startups and entrepreneurs; contracts, copyright, music licensing, music publishing and related services for professional musicians; employment matters; and real estate transactions.
